We weren't United today. Hartlepool were. Yems is a pl0nker - lets hope he doesn't sit next to you crawley57away, but hang on you don't go to any away games do you . As for the match itself for your manager to be throwing expletives at one of your players never looks good. Very unprofessional and then Yems subs him. He did nothing wrong Yems. You did. You lost Crawley the match today but will you own it. Nah never its always someone else's fault. No wonder several boos were aimed at you at full-time.
Talking to yourself now.
Last Edit: Feb 13, 2022 1:18:00 GMT by gruffi: Needs to be put in appropriate post, which isn't this one!
I would like to hear an accurate eye/ ear witness account of the confrontation between player and manager, which is so far a bit hazy in the posts so far, but it's just totally unacceptable for the player to grossly abuse the manager on the field of play, after being taken off for reckless behaviour against an opposition player.
JY was clearly trying to avoid an on pitch blow up and sending- off, but then, and it's something I have never hear of before, but it seems JY was so shocked at such gross insolence towards himself, from a player who is not even contracted , but a loanee, that he forgot himself, which was regrettable, but perhaps understandable in the heat of the circumstances.
It is a pity that the game was lost, but it's not the end of the world; I wish the serial bed-wetters on this site, and you know who you are, would get their heads straightened out, or take a permanent holiday, as one babbles repetitive off the wall rubbish and both are guilty of pushing an agenda of the worst interpretations and personal malevolence against a manager who cares about the club and is doing his best, before a rational precis of the team's performances and hopefully, a gradual overall improvement in recent form.
True supporters will just ignore these clowns and their poison pen trash; they revel in the slightest setback, as this gives them the hots for yet another opportunity for attacking club staff and players who are men of substance, unlike their detractors.
I don't believe Ferry being sub'd was anything to do with avoiding him getting a second yellow, but based on a heated exchange of words between Ferry and Yems.
Ferry thought he should have had a foul and was on the floor. Pool player left in loads of space because he was not where he should have been. Ferry runs over and commits a deliberate, if not too bad a foul...taking the players legs out.
Yems has a explosion at Ferry and Ferry has an explosion back.
Ferry can never win this but if you scream like Yems did you have to accept it back. Hopefully they have both calmed down and apologize to each other.
Edit: Speaking of grumpy gits, what was causing the animation of the time-wasting Monkey-hanger Goalie....?
Regrettably and stupidly, someone threw a couple of £1 coins his way; I am sure the charity collectors would have appreciated them more.
Questions were also posed around his gender identification.
With a plastic bottle being chucked towards the Stevenage 'keeper last week, and the coins this, I am sure that there will be a degree of trouble brewing for the Club and extre stewarding costs etc
Also re Ferry my cousin texted me from Redz to say that he had been talking to Ferry's dad who had driven down from Manchester to watch the game !
James Tilley received a ball in the face from close range which knocked him out. He was stretchered off and it was very worrying at the time. Thankfully he is ok but I guess he will miss a few games.
We are not good playing against strong physical teams. We needed more guile in breaking down Hartlepool strong defence. Keep pumping in high balls did not work.
I felt that the Ferry incident disrupted our play. Up till then we looked OK and had a lot of early chances. the team looked lost in the second half, devoid of ideas.

Regarding the Hartlepool Keepers gender, I thought he looked like the Plumber in a Scandanavian porno flick. Thanks for the info Hickmottsnr, as you say, could be sanctions ahead...(?)
In fairness, at times I thought both crowds really made a decent attempt to create some atmosphere. Their fans were a decent bunch, can't be easy to watch that sort of play every week.
Thought their forward Bogle was the big difference he caused trouble for Craig and Tunnicliffe the whole game worked his socks off held the ball up,scored a fantastic goal and yes got away with taking a lump out of Payne.
Does the Crawley Observer have a ‘Poet’s Corner?’ You could do a weekly poetic round up of Crawley Town’s matches 😂
Another thing about Bogle, his tackle wasn’t shown in the Sky highlights. Not seen the Quest ones yet but I thought he got away with one there. Obviously no intention but was a straight leg into Payne above the ankle. The sort of red card we would get all day!

Were you sat quite near the dugout then? I must admit I didn't see what happened because of where I stood and when I saw Ferry subbed off I presumed he was injured at the time. Maybe it could have been sorted at half time but then if you're a manager and you think one of your players isn't putting the effort in or disrespecting you, would you take them off straight away too? I don't know really

I reckon it was because it was in the first 10 minutes of the game why he didn't get more than a yellow, we don't have all the slow motion replays and video refs that we get in the Premier League though so harder to tell unless you see it again a few times
