not sure where previous text went buy basically was saying that somebody near me said at last match that although Harry Kewell overdid the play from the back we could do with some form of it rather than lump it up and hope bring back Harry?

Bring Back Cioffi! He's learnt a lot in Serie A with Udinese and would be found in a "global search"
I would personally be happy with either of the favourites Tisdale or Evans. The latter might be more problematic in reuniting the fan base after a difficult period but you know he would do well with money. Tisdale has had some underwhelming experiences but I feel he is young enough to rediscover his earlier mojo.
BUT my actual choice would be Simon Rusk. Connected already with our glory era. Was massively rated at Brighton and they were gutted he left for Stockport. Was very harshly sacked after a short period of time there as they wanted Challinor, who himself might be having a few wobbles now on clinching the promotion. I just feel he is the type of modern young manager who would fit in best with the Wagmi approach.
Of course I'm sure it will end up being someone nobody expects
Darren Ferguson would be an interesting appointment.
We would probably score an awful lot of goals. Not sure about defense though, but he does have a very good record in this division and is currently out of work.

It's an interesting one tbh. I went with Tisdale because he's a manager I've always admired, but he was a bit of a disaster at Stevenage. With the right backing you'd hope he could recapture the magic he produced at Exeter, though.
Rusk is a very interesting one, though. Would be happy to go down that route too. Think I'm right in saying his deal with Dundee only goes until the end of the season as well.
Garrard only signed a new three-year deal yesterday so can rule him out, while Ferguson would be a remarkable appointment at this level, but I can't see it.
Some names on the betting market are just open pisstakes? Malky McKay, a guy caught up in a previous racism scandal? Someone on a wind up punting his name surely

I think it's because he's doing an incredible job at Ross County, but point very much taken.

Evans? Kewell? No, thank you.
Tisdale's spell at Bristol Rovers was even worse judging by the thoughts of their fans and his record there. Admittedly I wasn't aware of Garrard signing a new contract so that one is probably unlikely. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one ex-Premier League manager is considered though because of the increased budget. Hopefully not John Carver or 'Tactics Tim' Sherwood
I’m skeptical Evans would be able to revive the magic from his last spell and his last few jobs have hardly been great. Hasn’t really done much since leaving Rotherham over 5 years ago. Tisdale took a long time to bring success to Exeter- times have changed I don’t think the owners will want a 5 year project. Don’t know who half the others are. Owners choice will be telling where their tenure is going.

I'm sure he'd want something a bit higher up but would it be worth at least asking the question to Mark Warburton? Just got binned by QPR rather harshly, and said in an interview with the Independent today: "Not to sound flippant about money but that’s not what it is for me. I’m lucky to be okay. I’ve paid my mortgage. But I’d be a very, very unhappy man if I was sat twiddling my thumbs or playing golf every day. I like responsibility, I like to be challenged so, if an offer came in tomorrow, as long as it was the right one, then fantastic."
You want a challenge, Mark? We are certainly that.

There'd be no harm in giving him a call I'm sure. Worst case scenario is that he just says he's not interested
