There's taking your time and taking your time............ It doesn't bode well that it looks like we cant make a decision. so what is the delay? Might be lots of things but this level of indecision makes me worry about what might happen going forward. Hope I'm worrying unnecessarily - just glad the scoreboards in place!!!!
What delay? the season is over and there are no games to play, personally I'd be far more concerned if the club appointed someone just for the sake of a quick decision, no way do we want another Harry Kewell farce for a few headlines, the owners need to make a choice that will take the club forward rather than backwards and if they're really going to give the appointee a big budget to play with then we don't need a Viv Nicholson spend spend spending for the sake of it
I guess that's why the forum is great. Two opposite views from two fans who want to see their team succeed. If you believe its a considered approach then I cant argue with what you believe but my view is that there has been more than ample time to make a decision and as Steve says, the window is short and already there will be players lost to us that we may have wanted and some of the player releases seem strange. My nervousness is that this is the start of a pattern that wont be beneficial as in any business, some things need sorting quicker than others - I hope that I am proved wrong.
The appointment of the manager will be the most important they make. They should take all the time they need for that to get it right
Unfortunately, based on experience of most clubs, its a transient role that has a short lifespan unless you hit the dizzy heights of great success. Any dithering to me implies either a lack of understanding in the people making the choice or due diligence - lets hope you are correct
Amusingly our ever hapless bookies now have Paul Raynor at second favourite lol
Big Steve has slipped way down the list at 25s
Let’s be honest they don’t a scooby do who the next manager is going to be we’ve had more names on the odds list than Erdem has invited to training at Horsham.
