Crawley Town play at home against Bristol Rovers in the EFL cup (2022/23 season), Tuesday 9th August 19:45 kick off. Please keep all discussion about the match to this thread. Thank you and come on you Reds
With this being a cup match, I'm finding it hard to predict how many fans will come along and what sort of teams both us and Rovers will be playing tonight.
Any one got any thoughts or inside information on either ?

Well I hope we don't use any of the B team players as they got thrashed by a non league team about 3 or 4 leagues below us as Bristol Rovers could end up with a cricket score especially if we try and play tiki taka passing in our own penalty area again!

I am not sure we need inside information for this.
Assuming a capacity (with segregation and aligned with the record attendance) of 5,880, we can remove about 1,200 in the North terrace for the away support (assuming no further away allocation in the East stand). This leaves us with about 4,680 seats available for the home support. So far, 2,326 seats are still available for the home support, leaving us around 2,354 home supporters booked to date.
Assuming some modest level of support from Bristol, that should leave us with around 3,000+ attendance for the game tonight.
Do please correct the figures if you think I have got this wrong.

Wow, that could be a good crowd, thanks for that. Let's hope our road to Wembley starts here !

Much better 1st half there, they are moving the ball around quicker which is leading to more chances. Ludwig and Craig look very solid and Mazeed looks much better than he did on Saturday
Yes better so far. Nichols had a shot on target, but that was more by accident as the Rovers back line gave him the ball on the edge of the box with the goal gaping. Game quite even and could go either way.
