Just to add to mr creepy post, it was also the best team performance that I have seen since we joined the football league. Last night will be a game that we will talk about for a very long time.
Unfortunately I was too ill to attend the match, so Sod’s law that we win. I did see the game V Bristol Rovers in the last round that we also won, but hopefully I won’t have to wait too long til the next win. Great result for the team last night and sounded like a great night for all in involved in Crawley. This will all count for nothing though if we don’t start winning some games in the league. Maybe Kev should try the same team and tactics V Rochdale on Saturday. It’s all well and good beating a Premier League team in the cup with a load of reserve players when they play slow possession football, we need to find a way to play against teams in League that are going to be more physical and in your face.

Sorry you missed the game Alex and Damo. Please do not think that Fulham were not Physical. They fought hard but our players chased everything and were more than a match for them. I do not understand how a team that was so poor on Saturday was transformed into last nights team. Our challenging for every loose ball and press was superb.

The match against Fulham is the best atmosphere, result and memory I have ever had at the Broadfield Stadium.
That includes playing giants like, Derby County, Norwich, Reading et al.
NOLI CEDERE
I missed it, as I was home self-isolating. So, cheers for that.
I think mine is still Derby and Sergio's goal. Guess last night surpassed that?
My opinion, the overall evening surpassed Derby simply because I’ve personally never had that level of pure elation for 90 mins of football but for individual moment nothing will ever beat that Torres goal.
Not sure if Polly or 57away made it last night, but what a night it was! If they didn't, I'm not sure why they are supporters as that is what football is all about and what supporters will remember in seasons ahead.
No matter if 57away is right (which I doubt) that these games have an impact on our ability to see a season through, the sheer joy of winning last night overrides everything. Thanks to all involved and lets do it all again in round 3!
THE COMMENTS ABOVE ARE FROM WESTSTANDER not ASHDOWNRED - technology get the better of me!!
The entire match (as well as extended highlights) is available to re-watch over and over on iFollow - accessible via the club website.
I wonder if the extended highlights show Fulham’s corner routine towards the end of the match? The one where the guy slipped on his backside and scooped the ball vertically in the air and gently out for a goal kick. Pure comedy genius and something he probably couldn’t repeat even if offered large sums of money. I think that was the final sign that the gods were with us last night. 🙂
Congratulations on a fine performance and result last night. Now it must be carried on to Saturday, especially as the opposition are probably the worst team in the division. Anything less than three points would be a massive disappointment.
Hopefully, but as the saying goes.............................................................. After the Lord Mayors Show ............ We shall see !!
Funny to recall now we tired quite badly in the last 15 mins (not surprisingly given the effort put in) but did anyone think Fulham were going to score despite all the chances they had, they had one of those real barn door games.

Only getting the chance now to comment as was away on holiday during all the excitement!
A great result for the club. For what it’s worth I predicted a 0-3 Fulham win!
Big crowd too. FA mentioned at start of season that they will come down hard on pitch invasions. So only disappointment was why people decided to do that. If we’d have reached Wembley Tuesday night then I could understand it. Don’t think running onto pitch to celebrate a win against a team playing in Championship last season is justified. Probably a majority was the 3000 or so people who attended who will not be attending the next league match at home🙄

The EFL in their statement also said they would be “identifying individuals involved”. Good luck with that.
