The man I'd choose is ridiculed by many but I believe he'd be an excellent appointment. Sol Campbell has been manager at two clubs. Both times he has had the financial rug pulled from under his feet within weeks of taking the job. At Macclesfield he kept the club in the league despite many weeks when the players and he went unpaid. At Southend the task was too great and the deep-seated mess that club was in has been evidenced by their subsequent decline. I believe Sol Campbell with his assistants Andrew Cole and Hermann Hreidarsson (though the latter is currently managing in Iceland) would not only guide Crawley Town to safety this season, he'd have you at the right end of the table next.
It would be like all the clubs Christmases coming at once if Steve Evans was re-appointed. I'm not expecting it to happen though. Lets get behind Lewis Young and the players and see where this takes us, maybe Lewis can turn things around.

Based on our results last season when he was in charge I'm not convinced.
Too early for Lewis Young in his coaching career and he doesn't strike me as the most confident and assertive of people and being a few years old than most of the players I feel it will be too hard to impose himself until he has proven himself in management a bit.
I imagine we'll probably get a young manager or some left field choice from WAGMI, they've already shown they do things differently and they are certainly not coventional owners so I wouldn't expect the likes of David Artell, Graham Alexander or Keith Hill although I'm confident any of those 3 could keep us up this season. Graham Alexander or Paul Tisdale would be great appointments on paper though.
Lewis Young will probably have a few games to 'prove' himself, what if we won say 3 in a row? Could be hard to ignore he at least gets an interview for the permanent manager's role.
Club bottom of the league. A mish mash of two (very) different managers squads. Injuries all over the place.
I think it might be a choice of who wants to come not of who we want to come.
Dave Artell, Grahame Alexander. Northern based. Tisdale has failed since leaving Exeter. Keith Hill ...really and Darren Fergusson only succeeds at Posh.
Unless wagmi have a plan (a change is as good as a rest) they have to hope some good people apply and get a football person to interview them.
