Enjoyable game but we could use some experienced defenders. Very exciting game but now looking for another manager after Byfields sending off. Good to see a manager showing some passion though.

I guess if Byfield got sent off he’s not allowed in the dugout the next game? So what now, Preston managing for real in the dugout next game. This is the stuff of a cheap American sitcom!

I used to read Roy of the Rovers. Preston takes over the team and leads us to promotion.
is Byfield now banned from touchline for a match? or is it time based? If he is banned for a match and we don't have a manager in place for Doncaster does this mean Preston will be 'in charge'? Can tings get any worse? Gutted after 2 up to draw although its also a point towards safety.
Okay, to concede in.. erm... "overtime" always feels like a loss. But any point at Newport can never be sniffed at, bonus of Telford justifying his £5k a week too. So cross fingers, maybe that siege mentality I mentioned earlier is happening...?
Well done everyone and special mention to the travelling fans...!

Dom may well be on 5K per week but I would expect the same effort from all the players regardless of their wage. You put the shirt on and you put the shift in. I'm sure the majority of us would have taken a point before KO and yes feels like defeat because 3 would have been very welcomed. We are far from outta the woods and I'm not comforted at all by our league position. We are in deep trouble - why would players come here (And we obviously need them), why are players like Nichols leaving and Craig being left out etc. (I wont repeat the rest we all know it by now)

Siege mentality is fine, but we must remember to raise the drawbridge.
Post-match reaction from the club. The more I hear from Darren the more I'm liking. He confirmed the Crawley Physio was also booked ahead of Darren's sending off. Dom also comes across very well, honest, respectful.
Isn't that part of the problem knowing the 'best' team. No disrespect intended to those that started and were on the bench but I know 3 I would've included that by all accounts didn't travel to Wales.

I think that was the weakest Crawley bench I've seen in years.
