We were as short as 8-1 before today’s game now some bookies are only offering 250-1 for us to go down. What a great result! So happy that we are in a league where only 2 teams go down!

2 down kept cr@p teams like Halifax in league two year on year until they finally dipped out. We are extemely fortunate only 2 get relegated. I fear we will become another Halifax under the current owners.

Did it?!? 😳They actually got relegated the last season of it bring only one down....🤔
Well it was a great win albeit against a team who are terrible and will almost certainly not be playing league football next season.
That this thread has lasted this long does represent failure given the high hopes of the season. Mark Yates and Dermot Drummy were both sacked for less or similar to this.
The one thing Cioffi has going for him is that he didn't have a pre-season, inherited a team that were not playing well under Kewell and a squad where the players never clicked at any time.
What goes against him is that he made that situation marginally worse rather than better.
The Turks along with perhaps our benefactor in the east now have an exceptionally difficult decision to make about next season.
I genuinely am not sure what will be the best course, to stick or twist with another new name.
Currently the squad are not good enough to probably survive another season at this level. Likely Orient and moneybags Salford will make the league tougher, none of the 4 teams coming down from League 1 look beyond recovery.
The defence lacks a real leader, the midfield a real playmaker given Morais's decline and if Palmer goes we will lack any real goals.
But I'm sure we will have a crack at solving all those problems but it will take a huge amount of work

The leadership point is very valid. At the forum there appeared to be a view from the top table that Jimmy Smith provided a lot of it & that is why he was given a contract extension...(?)
Ummm can anyone list any improvements Gabby has made I mean real improvements to suggest his dismal record is something we should overlook?
Didn’t he arrange to have some stickers of ‘good’ Crawley teams from days gone by put up in the tunnel..?
bit late for beginning of April. Well I can hardly think his predecessor will add to this sticjy album of 'greats' with any of our current squad (Morris might make be the only exception though really he only does whats expected of him.)
There are pictures of past teams on the walls of the corridors leading to and from the changing rooms and the pitch but with run of home form we have had it does not seeded to of inspired the present team much or manager.
The millions stated seems an awful lot of money to watch the dross we have had to endure this season, having watched the extended highlights it would appear we have to once again thank Mr Morris for our survival. Something is really wrong with our setup whether it's poor coaching, player quality or both if it isn't sorted for next season we will struggle again which is a shame as I feel the clubs efforts to contact with the community are bearing fruit, I have never seen so many youngsters with their elders really wanting us to do well and while the gates are not big they have been steady, something on which to build.

The club engaging with the local community, and more kids coming to home games can and will continue whether we stay in the FL or not. Which for next season, we will. But let's be honest, we are a bang average L2 side, and the recruitment and coaching needs to improve massively, whoever is the manager next season. Whether Mr Eren continues to put millions into the club just to keep us in existence, or HKP comes back and invests, we need a ruddy training ground. A youth set-up would be good too, but it's not essential. But Selim really needs to stop going on about top 10 playing budgets because if that's actually true, then it's been wasted as we have been in a relegation scrap, and nowhere near the play offs.

They’ve been up there a while, some really good wall prints.

if Gabby was responsible then credit where due, good on him acknowedging past greats, but thats where his 'improvements' end and all off the pitch; as on it, its been a dire season.
If the club have plans for any sort of lap of the pitch call it whatever you want last match against Mansfield (who might well be celebrating promotion or play offs and maybe not on a top ten budget) it will be an insult to Reds fans.
How about the manager take the microphone and explain why he regularly came up short, Poleon why he is a waste of space and Selim can read us another bedtime story of how great his recruitment drive has been, how we can all look forward to Gabby rebuilding a team for the title and no pigs in sight.
