Remember when our home form was good?? Without that little spell before Christmas we would be down already. Just how have we got in to this mess. Anyone who thinks we aren’t in trouble is seriously shot to bits. I think Notts County will save themselves,I really do.

Will that be at our expense??
I agree that they might just get out of trouble although hopefully not at our expense. The trouble is that even when we got those good results at home, the performances weren't necessarily convincing. There were several games like Cambridge and Crewe where we could have been dead and buried by half time had it not been for a combination of the Cat and woeful finishing by the opposition. We got lucky then but now we are on a bad run and that luck has disappeared. At the moment we only have to let one goal in and that is our chance of winning the game gone. We also need to be careful not to give the ball away cheaply against FGR on Saturday. They like to play football and showed in the first game that they are very good at keeping possession. One aimless hoof upfield and you don't see the ball again for several minutes.
Cambridge's coupon buster result last night has made life a bit more interesting for Reds fans for the next few weeks. I still think being 7 points ahead with 6 games left that we should be safe but you never know.
Have had a look at the remaining fixtures for the bottom 4 teams. The average league position of our remaining opponents is 12 compared to 12.8 (Yeovil) 13.1 (Motts County) and 13.7 (Macclesfield) and all our opposition have something to play for - fighting for play-off places (Forest Green, Exeter, Carlisle & Tranmere) or fighting for survival (Yeovil & Notts County)
Buckle up folks it will be a bumpy ride from now until the end of the season, with a few twists and turns along the way no doubt. Despite what some of us (me included) think of the manager and boardroom, lets get behind the team for the remaining 6 matches - RED ARMY

Maybe some of those lucky home wins before Christmas are balanced by us not getting anything from some fantastic (well according to our manager anyway!!) performances post Christmas. Myself I cannot remember any games this season we have really dominated, I am sure there must be some - aren't there?! Best performance for some long time was at home to Mansfield, another three or four 0-0 draws like that and we might just be safe, although our chances of doing that are as remote as a goalfest from our shot shy forwards/midfield?

Fair comment at the start Mick. I remember people moaning about the 3-0 win over Crewe, staying that we were lucky etc....but then the same people complain when we play well but lose.
calm down we have secured safety this season tonights result simply just shuffles the pack with three teams far worse than Crawley. The result changes nothing. Even the shambled organisation of Gabby cant prevent Reds picking up a few points here and there. Others below us are incapable of chalking up more points to overtake Reds.

have we? Two more losses and wins from those below us can easily put us in the shite
I think if we get 2 points against Yeovil and Notts County we will be ok. However this is easier said than done! Just one point may leave us needing results with our other remaining games which wouldn’t be good at all.
