Well i did think that if the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham, etc., are limited to 2,000 we were never going to be near that. Proportionately 1,200+ is actually a result compared to them - circa 20% plus of capacity.
I guess it is all about slowly building confidence in the system, etc.
I’m not a season ticket holder currently, I’ll see what the membership scheme is like before I decide to go or not. Agree with TownMeadsheds comment. Very poor to not let in 2000 fans which is roughly our average attendance anyway. Dissapointed but I can wait a bit longer if needs be.

Bigger stadiums were always likely to be worse off because the way I understand the logic of reduced attendance, it's also about transport to/from the stadium, public transport etc. As a club Crawley are quite well placed whereby many fans drive, we have good car parking and can socially distancing better than the County Mall. We have even ran a cycle to stadium initiative. If the club say the attendance was all what the safety authorities wanted I think the club have presented a poor case.
So we only have 651 STH and by guaranteeing them only all admission to the first (Barrow) match it allows the club to say STH gained an advantage purchasing and putting with ifollow. Why? If we can let 2,000 in, let 2,000 in. Anyone that left money with the club at the end of last season may feel p1ssed off (along with others) at having to join a membership scheme, even if thats free, which it won't be. It's part of PL/bigger club approaches I detest.
I hope the club doesn't insult fans intelligence telling us its so they can get used to it all. They've had months to do that. Non-league clubs have handled over 1,000 fans and as some on here have stated its all ran smoothly and been a good experience. This could really backfire for the club. Fans will have jumped for joy at the return to football only to have those joys dashed. I await the news in full, but so far, it doesn't make sense and doesn't look good.
The message only refers to 651 guaranteed seats. So either we have no standing STH, or those that are standing STH won't be admitted, or are included in the 651, but will be allocated a seat, or have they just been excluded? Very poor, unclear, confusing communucation by the club.
as mentioned totally confusing message from club. Im season ticket holder with terrace ticket. Does the garanteed seat mean terrace season ticket holders wont be admitted? will we have to take a seat, if i had paid for a more ecpensive seat i would be upset at that
651, 651, 651! Im fuming and anything else is 'unprintable' here!
Why? It’s over 20% of the capacity, which I seem to recall being suggested as a reasonable figure some weeks back, probably even on this thread. Still have to social in all parts of the ground remember.
The club literally can't win with some of our fans. People moaning at the thought of a membership scheme to guarantee your seat but yet 651 fans paid for a ST not knowing if they'd watch any live football... If it was as simple as just allowing 2000 fans back in do people not think the club would do it in a heartbeat. Especially as they already have the money from ST holders and desperately need the extra cash flow... people moan for the sake of moaning I swear. Also, I didn't the message was that confusing. Common sense suggests terracing is harder to govern for social distancing so terrace st holders will be given a seat perhaps? Either way I'm sure the fans won't be short changed and it's in hand.

"Also, I didn't the message was that confusing." - well I'm glad you didn't get confused! You then say terrace season ticket holders will be given a seat "perhaps" - lets hope you are not someone from the club organising all this!
651 is a very sensible start, see that it works, iron out any problems and then let more people in after that
Indeed, 651 sounds like a pilot to iron out possible problems when more are attending. Heck, if I were an STH and the 651 could go wherever they like in the stadium, I'd risk trying it out myself, but it sounds like the club might contain all 651 in one area - presumably the West Stand which I imagine seats about 1,500-2,000.
So we can go on a door to door sing song outside in unlimuted numbers, gather in 100s, 1000s1 but we have to socially distance in a football ground. Theyve lost the plot this government.
