Ref a joke Davide 'dive' (he got straight up) was no worse than many Orient dives. Dallison and Big Joe our best attacking players. Awful game in which we sat back unnecessarily. FT 0-0
I've ranted a bit at the screen and lost my temper.
I could slaughter so many players for that performance. Where to start would be the problem.
I will say its the manager who picks the team. That team tonight was nowhere near good enough. Let's hear what the man says and what he intends to do about it.
So many questions need answers: The line up and formation? why were we so defensive for an hour against 10 men? What happenned with Nichols? Surely we have a better penalty taker? Did Ashley touch the ball in the 1st half? Has John Yems lost the plot? Can Orient play football without cheating? Will we get a worse ref this season? If Dallison can play that well and get sub'd what more did the other players do to remain on the pitch? Have we seen the end of all hope of a play off/promotion challenge?

We off load Doherty because Dallison is playing so well in a position he is not as familiar with. Dallison is by far the best player on the pitch defending and getting forward and was key in our best two moves of the match then he is taken off. In his interview Yems points the finger at the players. That is a insult to the birthday lad who didn't deserve to be on the losing team. I say losing team because that's what it felt like. Answer on the back of a postage stamp please Mr Yems.
We had a golden chance to go ahead inside two minutes after a penalty was given for a push. Nichols then proceeded to flush his lines. From there him and the team seemed to lose confidence and had psychologically decided it wasn’t their day. Orient were then on top until the sending off after 30 minutes. From there we had lots of ball, but little attacking threat. Orient still arguably had the better chances going into the second half and we had a bit more impetus when Archie came on at full back and he put some decent crosses in, but often no one was anywhere near it. Strange that Dallison came off to put a midfielder at full back considering he was having another fine game. Ultimately we hugged and puffed and could’ve played all night and probably wouldn’t have score. A golden opportunity missed for 3 points after having a penalty and playing against 10 men for an hour. Very disappointing and frustrating to see.
I hope our season doesn’t peter out now. A game to forget.
We didn’t lose last night and gained a place in the league table, so not all doom and gloom. Performance and match overall was frustrating though. Onwards and upwards to Saturday 👍
