We draw nil-nil at home despite the ref awarding us a penalty AND sending off an opposition player. Sorry John... but you really have chosen the wrong match for another display of brattish petulance...!

After his comments after the Orient game, he will be facing a life ban if he is asked about the Harrogate match

I'm, firmly in Yems court - if we continue to flog our best players whenever we can what hope has he or any other manager of succeeding. Face up to it, we are going nowhere but Yems is not to blame. He can only work with what he has which are mainly untested players who may or may not improve. When they do we sell them. Success for us is staying in the league unless we can hold on to some decent players so by my definition we are succeeding! It wont be pretty and often boring but that's where we are and have been for at least the last 4 years - and at best we will stay at this level - at worst - lets not go there but Yems is to be supported and his honesty in after match responses is good to see.

In common with every other manager in the history of football, he has no divine right to expect every referee to get every decision right. I like Yemsy as a manager & as a man - however - if he genuinely believes that the Ref was responsible for our deficiencies on Tuesday, he is seriously deluded... he needs to ignore the distractions, grow up and focus on addressing his own & his teams character failings.
ps. He knows that I would say the same to his face.

I dread to think what fans would've said to his face had they been in attendance today (vs Harrogate) - I think some could easily have turned on him.

and that would get us precisely nowhere!
Im not saying I wouldvesaid anything just that its hard to believe all fans wouldve kept quiet. I would've applauded players like Tarryn cheering every ball he played. Gave 100% in a faultless performance. But, I do think some fans will inevitably have had a few words and I'm not sure how John might've reacted; we certainly all need a dose of "Town team together" right now.
