To be honest, if the club is to really push on and achieve what I think it is capable of with this group of players, we need a more dynamic manager with fresher ideas, has greater ambitions than merely staying in the division, who can properly set up the team to counter the strengths and exploit weaknesses in the opposition and has a clear long term vision for the club which the fans can buy into. We may only be three points off the playoffs still but the performances most of the time have simply not been good enough (bar one or two exceptions) and I think the manager has got to take much more responsibility for these. Some of his tactics have been utterly baffling at times and I find he often either brings on the wrong players or leaves it too late to make substitutions, thus leaving us with little hope of getting back into games. You cannot just rely on individual moments such as Appiah heading in the only decent cross or Nick banging one in from 25 yards to get you points.
Plus he definitely seems to have his favourites that never seem to get dropped even if they continuously put in poor performances and when things don't go wrong he hardly ever takes responsibility for decisions he's made, often blaming factors such as the referee, fans, weather, the kit man etc. Who is actually coaching the defence and midfield at the moment? All the time it seems like the same mistakes keep being made whenever we concede (such as not marking, not bothering to track back, not picking up attackers) and this is really irritating as I think with some very basic instructions and tactics these issues can be fixed.
Not saying Yems should be sacked this evening or anything just yet but I think if we lose to Port Vale and get knocked out of the FA Cup by Tranmere sadly I reckon his position will start to become untenable, as we should be doing way better than we are at the moment with this group of players. Sorry that this is long and does probably sound ranty and harsh but I really want this club to succeed and put in performances I can be proud of and that isn't happening at the moment
Tony Craig LAST 28 League Starts - 4 Wins, 8 Draws, 16 Losses. Its NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!
My Mother could have managed this squad into the Top Half!
Yems is a Great Scout, but a Bad Manager. Does not pick the correct players to start matches.
Last season whenever Davies & Tsaroulla started we did GREAT!
This season when Tsaroulla & Ferry combined on the left, we have done GREAT!
Clueless Management. Time to go to that Cave in Tenerife Yems or just take the Head Scout Job ONLY!
Hope people are going to start seeing the correlation between Craig playing and our results
Yes maybe but I think there's much bigger issues to worry about than simply not picking one particular player. At the moment I cannot see a way the team's form will improve all of a sudden just because say Ludwig starts the next game instead of Tony Craig

Stats only provide so much - how many of those 28 games included players who you would pick yourself?
Yems lived by the sword last season when picking Josh Wright on 20 occasions. He will live and die by the sword this season by picking Craig & Powell 20 times. He doesnt do stats - he has said that a couple of times on interviews. he goes on GUT Feeling! Well his GUT feelings are VERY GOOD when it comes to buying players and NOT so good when knowing who to play and who fits with who.
Powell is the most (managers opinion ) overated crawley player ever.....set piece specialist my arse ......when have we scored from his corners / free kicks...sideways passes only....in my long list of top 100 crawley midfielders (have seen that many now ) he would be in the High 90's...

I thought Powell was good last season but ever since he got given a new contract his form has dropped off the cliff, I really think a spell out of the team will help him in the long term to refocus and get back to his best form, as at the moment he's playing like he knows he'll always be picked even if he doesn't complete a single pass all game. Also still having him taking corners is up there with when Roy Hodgson had Harry Kane taking them at Euro 2016, literally every one has either hit the first defender or been a short one that never comes off

We were 8th in the table just a few games ago. I won’t comment on the game because I wasn’t there (not that it appears to stop the keyboard army) but we really do have to keep it quite level headed after a bad result

We were indeed but I think even then the performances weren't convincing, it was the case where one decent move or wonder goal would just happen to be enough to get points. For me if the results weren't there but the performances were it wouldn't be as bad but it's the really tepid, lackluster performances, especially in defence and midfield, which is really getting to me at the moment, and for the reasons I've outlined above I don't feel confident these will improve much under the current set up. Also if this was just a one off bad result then yes that definitely would be an over reaction but we've now lost four of our last five games, all against teams of mediocre to poor quality and that isn't the standard I expect from this club.
I hate to be negative about my team, especially as they all are great guys off the pitch and for that I really want them to do well, but when things are going wrong like they are at the moment then questions definitely do need to be asked
Give crawley 57 credit in that he is commenting on the game that has just finished ,which shows he is showing an interest unlike the majority of crawley fans who will divulge how there premiership side are doing first..he is growing on me...and worryingly starting to make sense..
