Did anyone sample the food? I believe we have the same supply of pies as the Amex. Probably not cheap but more meat than grizzle. I believe we also had hot dogs on the menu and I didnt see any long queues. Wouldve been good to have had a Mr Whippy but Im not complaining.

I didn't but when I went there to get a drink it nice to be able to go in the bit again and not have that table in front (obviously this was done for Covid reasons but I thought it was unnecessary after a bit, especially when all restrictions had been lifted, and it partly caused the long queues)
www.crawleytownfc.com/news/2022/july/queens-park-rangers-reaction--kevin-betsy/ what i took from this is we will be playing out from the back (Im really not keen on this but feel I need to be open-minded here) and we need adaptable players and Tilley was mentioned here. 5 subs next season (not something I'm per se supportive of as it changes landscape on pitch so much but it highlights the need for a squad approach). Team bonding (yes great approach) and yep the number 34 got a mention!

Had a chicken and leek pie it was lovely. No chips available yet but the club are having deep fat fryers installed. And being allowed back in the tea bars is brilliant. Should help with the queuing problems.

Fridges coming for the drinks as well. I had a sausage roll and it was thoroughly enjoyable

I agree, not allowing us in the tea bars was totally unnecessary considering there weren't any Covid restrictions on opening of buildings for the entirety of last season and I think partly was the reason for such long queues.
The lack of chips I think was done because catering was exclusively produced by the company the club announced a contract with earlier in the day (in order to mark the deal).
Good turnout I thought. Don’t get much out of these games as very much a training game just giving all the squad a run out. It’s not till the last game or two of pre-season that you start to get a feel for how we are performing and possible lineup. Still good to see the new players in a Crawley shirt.
I was unable to be there, but the sun in Cornwall more than made up for it
Treat yourself to a pastie Paul, there's nothing like eating a Cornish Pasty in a small fishing harbour, hopeing the seaugulls don't dive bomb you for a bite
Cornwall truly is one of the best places in the UK, enjoy !

Indeed, I've extended my stay on a whim - the joys of being self employed. As far as the pasties go, yes, they're lovely, though I do stick to the non-meat variety because I'm a hopeless eccentric
