I don't know what value has been placed on TN, but an alternative view might be that he is a finacial asset of the club while under contract so they don't want to risk injury and flushing £200k? down the bog
Fair point Paul but then again, he could equally get injured in training. Is he going to be kept out of that as well? When does the transfer window open - is it January as normal or has it been changed? If it’s January, are we going to leave him out for the rest of the month? It’s all well and good having a DoF ‘recommending’ who to pick or not pick, but it won’t be him that takes the flak if the results don’t go our way.
I’m not really bothered if you want to call it out as bullsh!t or not tbh.
The fact is I was told by a very reliable source that Young was told to leave out Craig and Nichols prior to Gillingham away and he ignored the instruction.
By Sunday Young is out of a job and the very next game Craig is on the bench and Nichols is completely out the squad with the manager claiming it was “out of his hands”.
I’m not sure which part of that doesn’t stack up?
Gillingham away? Well that kind of means that nothing you say can possibly stack up.

Yep and we don’t actually know all the details. We don’t know if he has been affected by the offers. You have to trust who the club employs to make these kind of judgments. That’s our DoF.
If it is Colchester who have come in for Nichols, then we will not get much money as i hear from my family who live in Colchester, they are scraping the bottom of the barrel for funds. The reason is their owner keeps creaming profits and selling the best players that why they are in the position they find themselves in the league.
