Just watched Pitchside view on YouTube. Right at the end Tom Nichols makes an appearance congratulating the players as they leave the field. I think that puts the disruptive person theory to bed.
Just a small disagreement Steve. I think it should be the manager and the manager alone who decides if a player is in the right state of mind to play. Fair enough to take advice but not have it " taken out of my hands".

I agree, he doesn’t look particularly disgruntled.

What sort of manager have we got if he cant handle a few distractions? Oh and thats a new one on me 'distractions'!
Don't think we can blame the manager for this. He's come into a new job and been told straight away by our DoF who he can and can't pick. Not a great state of affairs is it? And the reason Galley gave for Nichols being sidelined was pathetic TBH.

My reason is more correct, in my opinion of course.

Your reason is just your opinion, based on guesswork. My reason is the one the DoF gave. But keep having fun in your little bubble of make-believe.

Absolutely an honourable disagrement Jim. I tend to think the DoF sits above the manager, maybe has more interaction with the players' representatives and may in some cases have a better insight into a players' state of mind in wanting to play for the club and business arrangements surrounding that - especially if a manager is very new. Still speaking hypothetically of course, it will all come out what is happening with Nichols soon enough.
Yes at the end of the game I watched a very happy Tom emerge from the dugout smiling away and backslapping the lads. I'm not assuming anything at the moment!

Nicholls was seen with CrAwLeY57aWaY and peespottage before the game, after being checked over by the club doctor it was found that Nicholls had contracted full of shit disease from them and was declared too dangerous to play in case of collision with another player
This case feels very similar to the bit last season where Dallison was left out of matchday squads for at least 6 weeks before he moved to Colchester. Actually think that situation was handled worse than the current one with Nichols as whilst that was going on no one at the club gave us any clues as to why Dallison wasn't being picked.
I think it's best not to over speculate on things at the moment and get behind the team for tomorrow and the remaining matches this month. They certainly did a more than adequate job last weekend without Nichols
