Hi Reuben. I tried to message this to you privately but have had no response. I’d appreciate if you could now reply publicly here
Hi Reuben,
I’ve just watched your update video about the CTSA and your upcoming meeting with Chris Galley. There’s one part that concerns me. You state that you will be ‘ensuring that the CTSA have a good relationship with the club, where they can trust us with information that we then won’t make public’.
I don’t believe a supporters association should ever have a mandate to ensure a good relationship with a club. A supporters association/club is there to look out for the interest of supporters, not the good relationship between itself and the club ownership. The relationship between you and WAGMI should become adversarial if/when required.
What is your rationale for wanting to maintain a good relationship with WAGMI? For me, your words in the video suggest that you believe that if you keep them happy, they’ll give you more information, which to my mind is pure fantasy. There’s been a real change in lines of communication from WAGMI of late, none more so highlighted than the fact they are sending Chris Galley to meet you as opposed to one of the ownership group.
I tried to contact you on the CTSA website about this matter however the Contact Us link directs to the About Us page.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your message. I'm happy to answer your question on here. Sorry that I didn't reply on PM on here (Never get notified about that) and I'll also check the links on the website work for the future. Thanks for letting me know.
Firstly worth clarifying that WAGMI never sent Galley to speak to us. Our open letter was asking to meet WAGMI and Chris Galley. We weren't able to find a time this side of Christmas for ownership, Galley and I to meet. We are aiming to meet again in the new year where hopefully a member of the ownership will be there. I am also trying to arrange a meeting with Preston individually as well. Galley is planning on doing a Fans Forum post January transfer window.
For me, if there isn't a good relationship then no productive conversations can go ahead. Why would they (WAGMI) want to speak to the CTSA and I if they know the first thing we will do is blurt out what they have said to the press? This is why a good relationship, particularly at a time where this is an early interaction between the club and the CTSA, is needed. We, however, are willing to say when we disagree with the club and hold the club to account. For example, we didn't need to release an open letter asking for a meeting but we felt that that was the best course of action rather than asking for a private meeting.
One thing that the CTSA needs though is to build the trust from Crawley fans that we will be doing what we need to do as the SA of Crawley. How we do that though is another question but will come with time and through our actions.

I assume Galley didn't hint about the imminent change in manager? Such a shambles. Think we need a fans forum as soon as possible to get answers.
We will just be fed like a mushroom so dont see a point in a fans forum tbh
the time has surely come to protest the way the club is being ran into the ground more viamently than a few boos every now and again
A few of us have already plans to protest at the Grimsby game, mainly due to time to organise and time to see what happens in the transfer window. I expect it will bubble over in games before then starting Friday night, though doesn't give much time to get a few banners together. Ramp it up against Grimsby, will speak to mate that was pat of all the Brighton protests of the past and learn a trick or two including what not to do. But lets just say Galley we are coming for you and you are gonna be outta this club quicker than you can say ****

I imagine Mr Galley is looking around for greener pastures too. I certainly would be in his situation.
