With 4 departures so far, and the possibility of a number of our loan players being recalled, I wonder if the club are going to sign anyone? It's over half way through the transfer window now, and any half decent players will already have been snapped up.
I would love to know from Preston or Galley what the transfer policy at the club actually is? Hopefully Lindsey has some targets and we are talking to them. Because I don't think the squad as it currently is is strong enough to keep us in the FL.
Balagizi is going to be recalled to Liverpool as well
I'm surprised they haven't recalled him already, what team would want a young player being subjected to the ludicrous crap going on at CTFC, I'd never have let him come back after his injury
Don't forget that Etherington quit because he was told there would be no signings in January, only departures - although presumably they will now have to get another keeper in, at least. Lindsey has been very sheepish on the subject in interviews and Preston told the Crawley Observer in a video interview that one of the reasons Lindsey was appointed was because he was 'used to working with what he'd got'...

They have until 20th January to recall him. He’s suspiciously absent from the training videos this week which leads me to believe he’s gone

If that's true then we're f***ed. The Wagmi policy of getting rid of our best players (Appiah/Morris/Nichols) or just freezing them out (Francomb/Craig/Hess) and not letting this week's manager sign anyone new suggests that they don't actually care if we get relegated.
When KB was in charge, we got loads of new players in, some not L2 standard, a lot on loan so we can say goodbye to them in May (if not sooner). Telford was our star signing but we don't use him properly. Conroy looked a good signing but he's never fit. It's what happens when you have people who don't know or understand football running things and in charge of footballing matters e.g. transfers, team selection etc. The Wagmi Way: make it up as we go along, and if we screw things up and get the club relegated, never mind, cos we got to put a bunch of fun stuff on Insta, and pretended to sign some internet celebrities, and broke the L2 record for most managers in 12 months.

Liverpool haven't recalled him yet, but they have recalled three other players they had out on loan, so it could just be a matter of time sadly. Balagizi has been one of the few bright spots in a shitty season.
Notice we still have not signed an experienced keeper, so the only keeper on the books is Addai! (Greensall has also left). We have lost 4 keepers and a keeping coach in a week. Hopefully a keeper will be signed tomorrow.
I feel that we need at least five more experienced players, in addition to a keeper : a good RB, LB to allow Nick to play further forward, Centre Back to cover for injuries, Centre Midfield and tall striker. However, with 36 players still on books, can't see owners getting in players until a few of the B squad have been moved on.
Just over a week to go in the transfer window and still no signings! Just 6 players out, although 3 were on loan, so may allow us to bring in a couple on loan, if they want to come here. None of the B team outfield players have left so far which makes me think no one wants them, and they don't want to lose money by dropping down leagues and going part-time.
Meanwhile Gillingham Hartlepool and Colchester have strengthened bringing in 7, 5 and 4 respectively and Harrogate have brought in 3. The only relegation rivals not to strengthen are Rochdale and Newport. Both have bought in one player each but also lost a player or two.

I think the problem lies with owners who, by the their own admission and I have no objection to that, they have been upfront about it, know nothing about football.
The biggest problem we face is that they have vested the executive decision making at the club to a person who has no experience of football and knows nothing about football. He has no understanding of what it means to be a professional football player, he has no experience in the game, he has no contacts, he knows no owners, managers, staff or players (barely knows the ones at Crawley) and has no idea how to attract and retain the right type of players.

GALLEY OUT, FOOTBALL IN!
SCOTT LINDSEY'S RED ARMY!
Yes of course WAGMI is where it all goes (wrong) back to but the immediacy of getting players in to keep us up is getting desperate and I think all the bad publicity overall Yems, transfer, loans, managers comings goings its al added up to players dont wanna come here - certainly it appears anyone worthwhile
