Not sure what the pitch inspection is all about. Was in Corby 45 mins ago and was sunny and 5 degrees. Corby aint far from Peterborough. I would be amazed if match called off tonight.
Obviously some issue with pitch or weather forecast for tonight?
This is Madness! Weather Forecast Tonight in Peterborough is 7 degrees part cloudy - was sunny this morning! They have big match at Charlton on Saturday - They are going for Automatic Promotion - They DONT fancy playing this match tonight - that's obvious! But will they get away with it?
I'm glad it's going ahead. General temperature isn't always a reliable guide because some parts of a pitch can stay in shadow all day in winter, so not unfreeze. I won't be following on i-follow though as I'm doing other stuff. Will be looking in on my phone for updates.
Peterborough got their wish. They didnt fancy 2.5 days only to get ready for Automatic Promotion Game @ Charlton.
Ground Staff Out with Buckets of Ice on the Pitch and Chill Blowers.
For Gods sake current forecast states 7 degrees and Sunny. They shouldnt be allowed to get away with this.
57, it is not sunny up in Peterborough. It's 6.40pm it's fucking dark!
Northgate you are so Gullible! View the Peterborough Weather on Google! I was in Corby this Moring it was 7 degress and Sunny. The Posh have got their wish, they have FIXED the Pitch on Ferguson's Instrutions and we will end playing this match 2.5 days before the Wrexham Away Game! You Just Wait & See!
Not to mention the fact that the squad could have stayed local this week and prepared properly for Saturday, but instead we’ve been pissed around by preparing for a game that never was.
