Will be good to play sides such as Birmingham, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Wigan, Shrewsbury and Burton which I have not seen Crawley play before.
Also less Northern trips - no Barrow, Carlisle, Morecambe, Fleetwood, and more Southern trips such as Orient, Charlton Cambridge, Wycombe, Reading and Northampton.

Crawley v Birmingham City as a fixture next season! If you'd have suggested that only 8 months ago people would have told you you were mad.

I feel like League One is going to be tougher than 9 years ago when we were last in it. I can’t remember so many big teams being in it last time around.

Depends how you are quantifying 'big' but our second season saw Wolves and Brentford promoted, both now PL teams.
There are certainly more ex-PL teams in L1 next season than there were before.
Interestingly, the average attendance in 2012/13 in L1 was 6,300 and this season 9,500...

They've all deserved the right to play in League 1 whether it be from poor management or as in Reds' case, great management !!!!

And Bournemouth were promoted in our first season, Sheffield United were in for all 3 of our seasons, as were Coventry.

Charlton, Reading, Bolton, Birmingham, Huddersfield, Barnsley all should be in the championship at least for the size of the clubs and their recent history of being in the Prem/Championship a lot.

Watched a media report on L1 yesterday saying it’s the strongest the league has been for many a year, and they’re correct.
Some big clubs in there and a number of them are former premier league clubs.
We are very much in with the big boys now as it were.
Not being fearful, it’s just a fact.
We will need to strengthen our pool of players but I’m not saying anything SL doesn’t know already.
But you’re right, L1 hasn’t been this strong for a fair while.
The fact is League 1 will always be stronger than League 2 and Scott and the owners will know that and hopefully strengthen where they need to.
There will always be 5 or 6 ex championship teams that have fallen on bad times. On attendance levels only Birmingham, Huddersfield and Bolton averaged over 13,500 last year (all much more).
Even the smaller clubs such as Burton, Shrewsbury and Cambridge have played at this level a few years so won't be easy either.
