The club can just go forth and multiply if this happens . Total joke .
Am on the verge of moving on from the club season ticket or otherwise. This close season has been unacceptable and the clubs treatment of fans disengous in the extreme.
Next season is going to be horrific mess the way the club is going.
Apart from the obvious difficulties in watching the dismantling of a promotion wining side, my concern is how less attractive we’re making ourselves as a club for players considering joining us.
Professional players would have looked at our team winning promotion and been hugely attracted by our style of play, our manager etc.
BUT, looking at what’s happened in this close season, will they not now be looking on thinking, fck that, I’m not touching that mob.
Of course they are player with any sense or choice would be a very fast "no" to signing for Crawley Town ...season of defeats, angst crowd after a handful of games, huge owners out agenda and a team who has no connection what so ever with the fans ..

Which is why we are signing no players at the moment. With a squad of 17 (and no reserve or so youth team), pre-season training started, first friendly in less than two weeks, first game in just over five weeks, you would expect lots of new players being signed, but none this week so far, and little communication from the club. I can imagine they are shell shocked and can understand Scott not commenting at moment (don't feel it is his responsibility). .
To be honest if Scott L has any sense he will find another job before the season kicks off. He's deservedly earned a profile and credability as a manager or coach. I would be amazed if he couldn't walk into a position paying double what he earns at Crawley Town even as an assistant at atop league 1 or championship club.
The bloke has done the hard yards through football and used all his experience to deliver against all odds ..he should make the most of it . Frankly it's one unfathamble aspect to all this why he is still here.

Hopefully, any prospective signing casts their mind back to last summer when we got rid of a load of established players, replaced them with unproven non-league players, and everyone had us dead favourites to go down. While the task is undoubtedly harder this time around, the model of signing overlooked players is there to see, even if it does piss all of us fans off. Also, I'm m sure the opportunity to work with Lindsey will still appeal to some, especially as he's been open about improving players (Orsi especially). Plus, I think plenty of players will take an opportunity to play for a league 1 club regardless of what's going on behind the scenes. They'll have an easier route to the first team and a chance to prove they belong at this level.
