Players are meant to be back for pre season training today so hopefully we’ll get some social media updates from the training ground later.
Yes hopefully. They are also useful for picking up a few clues on the squad such as players's characters, who the camera concentrates on, who is missing, what numbers they have on their training kits, and any trialists you don't recognise (normally large number on shirt or none). I was also hoping for a new player announcement today, but nothing yet.

I just hope they have found a better way to affix numbers to shirts - in an age when probes fly around space and micro cameras detect diseases.
I think we only have 16 first team players signed up.
You would like to think we will a announce another 4 or 5 at least this week.
We have a very short window to get all these new players to gel and if we have a load of players coming in over the next two or three weeks fitness will also be an issue on top of team cohesion.
Have to say am still feeling very very pessimistic, everything's stacked against us and most of it of our own making.
Also Liam Kelly rumoured departure from the club persists which would be the final nail in a disastrous closed season
I make it 17, but yes agree we need to have at least 20 - 22 by end of this week including experienced keeper and striker.
Out of the 17, about half are experienced, and half have little or no EFL experience so we really need some experienced players this week.
Just checked FB ref: 8 of our squad have completed less than 25 games (x90 minutes) at EFL or equivalent level. Only 3 players, Liam Kelly, Conroy and Malone have completed more than 100 games, and Malone has completed more games than the rest of the squad put together excluding Conroy and Liam Kelly. Then again, we had similar experience issues last year, and we did okay but that was L2.
I am beginning to think Eben had no new replacements lined up when he decided to sell Orsi, Addai and Lolos. He is driven entirely by financial reasons only and feelings like team morale and togetherness are temporary and not relevant to him.
The company year end was 29 June, so I think he decided to sell whatever players made him £X to help him reduce the debts. It didn't matter who, they would recruit replacements and the coaching team would coach them later.
At least with so few players in training (which is probably why we haven't seen any training videos or tweets yet) the coaching team can donate more time to the few new players, and those like Fish, Sandford and Khaleel who did not appear much last year but may be needed this year.
Eben is not a football person. So any decisions he makes will be for the financial benefit of Wagmi, rather than the team. CTFC is a means to an end, nothing more. He has a plaything, he'll do what he wants with it until he gets bored and sells up. Whatever consequences that approach has for the players/manager/fans/club/league position won't concern him.
A shame we haven't got a football person in as CEO/DoF or whatever to advise him, but he probably wouldn't listen anyway.
"if we don't deliver promotion in two years we've failed, and you can vote us out"
Also, "we didn't expect or prepare for promotion"
Lord help us

We are Reportedly now a 1 in 3 Chance to Sign 31 years old Tom Bradshaw from Millwall. Between Us, Wrexham, Mansfield. I think we might be slight favourites as he might not need to move house if he completes the deal with us. Fingers Crossed. Very Good Player at this Level. 1in 2 Goalscorer for Walsall in League One.
First video of pre season training just released by the club. Just under a minutes duration on X but good to see.
Nothing to it really. Williams, Barker, J Kelly, Papadopoulos, and Khaleel walking into a building and Khaleel playing darts. Only one on the pitch was our new player, Steve the sprinkler! It did show that Barker has been allocated No5 and Khaleel still wearing No 27 though.

New short video just released and shows Darcy there, thanks goodness!
