if we dont get the players I can see us going cap in hand to any club picking up their rejects and loan players that somehow we need a deal where the host club pays a large part of their wages.

If we only keep them for a year, age is largely irrelevant.

Few on the Fishes forum suggesting we are trying to sign another player from them. Our stats man must have been impressed with their team.

I think we need as a minimum:

A goal keeper, two strikers, an athletic creative central midfielder to replace Kelly, a creative number 10 and right wing back or defender who can go forward.

Probably need cover at left back for as well.


We have to remember Roles D'Arcy and Adeyemo were essentially subs in the run in none were starters inthe big games so it's unlikely they will take on that role and excel in League 1

At least we have moved our scouting network beyond Swindon.

I know we are all concerned about squad size and player numbers - this just in from League Two

Makes sense, we apparently came close to signing him in January.

I calculate that we have had 17 out so far (including Maguire and Gordon) and 8 in so we are 9 down at the moment with 19 players. Then again, we have no reserve team and no youth team can survive on a much smaller squad than other teams.
