Sharing the Amex is a BIG NO from me. We are a CRAWLEY club NOT from Brighton. I would rather watch in a packed out stadium, than go there. Would NEVER agree to this as an option!
I wouldnt want it either and only hope we see success rise and maybe eventually expand the Broadfield.

Indeed. Playing to a 20% full stadium 20 miles away doesn't sound like a recipe for a happy future.

i dontlike or advocate it BUT if we dont own our ground and outgrow it what options do we have? Certainly cheaper than building a new stadium. But its all a long way of. We need to sustain L1 status first then kick on from there.
We may not own the ground, doesn’t mean it can’t be improved though.
Problem is, there's very little room to expand, even if the will is there. If we did ever make the Championship, we would need to go all seater, isn't that right?

Brighton wouldn't be interested in the idea so best move on to Plan C.

you dont know that. Its simple simon the club outgrows its stadium cant expand it can ground share theyve had their women here so why not our men there. But you can relax as we aint going anywhere yet.
I think we could do with about four better players and a couple of older heads in the squad for next season.
My big fear is, that should we get relegated, then we could go again from League 2, similar with Yeovil and FGR to name a few. Hopefully it won't happen !!!

I was very relaxed as anyone with half a brain knows no Premier League team is going to share their pitch. That's the reason their ladies are at Crawley, reduce wear and tear on Amex and because we need the cash.
Redevelop the Broadfield or build elsewhere in the Borough. Although we managed perfectly well last time we were in L1.

Its simple Simon, get some new specs and you can see things clearly Mr knowall
If we start winning then the gates will go up but start struggling and we will be lucky to get the same numbers we averaged last season. I just wont us to stay up if we do well then its a bonus but it does depend who resigns and who we manage to sign.

And Preston mentioned possibly buying the ground in the Fans Forum. We would only need to look at doubling capacity to be more competitive in L1. Surely there is the space to do that with the car park/fans zone. Obviously any improvements would need council approval, but we probably need to stay in L1 for a few years before we look at any changes. Preston indicated in his interview that he wanted to stabilise at this level for few years which is right thing to do.

No need for specs, only something between your ears.
