When i first read this i was concerned that someone was trying to exploit a good cause. However the link takes you to the official British legion web address. A good idea to increase revenue for a good cause.
Fantastic, the Legion do not get all the credit they deserve, they do a lot that goes unnoticed particularly for a group of people who do not always get the level of support they require.
Not everyone agrees...including a professional footballer.
Actually none of them disagree with the wearing of the poppy - Jon Snow and Charlene make valid points about being asked to wear it on-air (at the BBC there is no requirement to wear it)
The interest around it being relevant to all conflicts has made it politicised - McClean and others see that as a problem. I have a degree of sympathy with that.
But I come down to this - these men/women go to war at the behest of a government. They do not get a great deal of input into the decision. And they carry out their duties with great dignity and great professionalism.

For that they deserve my support and thenks
some prefer the white poppy and I believe theres alsp a black one so not everyone is in total agreed alignment.
