Two team playing good std for league two cancelling each other out. We are just edging on top. No idea why one of their players is playing in goal for us but he hasnt had as much to do and concern himself with ss the Exeter keeper. Some poor calls by the ref. Payne immense.
That was a very good game of football. Both teams deserve credit for that. I feel we just edged it but Camara's missed header and our defence switching off for the long ball forward means it's only a draw. Lovely goal by Morais following excellent centre forward work by Palmer.
I believe they had one off the line at the and and ANG should have scored for us so even Stevens.
Good game of football, we dominated possession for long periods without creating many clear chances against a well organised Exeter side who were hard to break down.
The excellent again Morais scored a good goal on the break with a great shot from the edge of the box and instead of building on our lead or seeing the game out we concede a stupid goal on the break. Very frustrating.
I feel the team is playing well now and home matches are enjoyable, we’ve dominated the last few home games now, much more positive than under Kewell. I just don’t think we’re quite there to get in the play offs,we should see out games like this.
Onwards and upwards, hopefully we’ll make it by getting something at Tranmere.

A good summing up. For me Payne should've stayed on as Bullman added nothing and Payne was easily MOM and our creative engine in the middle. if it was awarded on points I think youd give Reds 2 and them 1; ive not checked the table but I doubt (on that performance) Exeter concede many goals. we are still in contention though we actually slipped a position in the table we are a point off the plays off. We need draw minimum but really to edge in there a win at Tranmere Rovers. Hopefully Ian Rush no longer plays for them and our defence can do a little better this - an awful balls up for their goal but I don't want this to take the gloss off a good battling performance and for the Young critics yes he failed on a cross in injury time but hey there were far far more excellent runs and penetrations into creative play from him. A close contender for MOM. I came away entertained even though disappointed we didn't hold the lead.
Another great team performance against a well organised Exeter team....sort out the away form and play offs is on the cards...let's hope the good people of Crawley come and watch the lovely football we are being entertained with...

Yes, certainly came away frustrated after that - but Exeter are a good side and limited our chances, and I felt thoroughly entertained at the end (not something I've said many times over recent years until the last few games). I like this side - Camara's relentless harrying, Morais constantly encouraging on those around him, Ollie as the old school big dominant front man, flashes of real skill from Gambin, Payne excellent one minute, not so much the next. I'd need to watch their equaliser again - felt like such a daft way to undo all the hard work we'd put in....and then they nearly snatched it at the end. Good game though - keep it up Crawley.
Seems like ages ago when we would complain about going a goal up & then sitting back.. instead tonight our gung-ho spirit meant we fell victim to a sucker punch... on balance it is a better way to go.
Exeter are no mugs but 2nd half we pressed with high tempo & energy & they really struggled to cope.. we chased them down superbly high up the field.
I felt ANG for Gambin was the only thing that misfired, we seemed to lose a bit of shape.
However an honourable entertaining draw and consolation that our performance would have seen off most of the teams in this league, but credit also to the opposition who stayed in the game & took their only breakaway chance.
There seemed to be a lot of kids in the crowd - half-term - and i suspect a few will be nagging their parents to return again soon..!
