When it comes to skill, he is a decent player.. When it comes to strength - like when facing that big unit MK had up front on Saturday - Bonzo's physicality is a plus.
Can we all agree that he would be much better off in midfield than defence?
He has composure on the ball and wants to go forward, but does not have the discipline or defensive instincts to play centre half.
Yes we can. He's a midfielder - stick him in midfield. Conns plays better in defence with Big Joe alongside him - not sure why Joe can't seem to get a game whoever our manager is. And tbh we need a beast like Bondz at the back at present. We're shipping a ridiculous amount of goals. Perhaps GC should try a McNerney/N'Gala partnership and see if that makes a difference?

Yes it is a mystery why Joe Mc can't seem to get a game, he's well liked by the supporters and IMO is not much between him and Connolly who can#t stop seeming to give goals away lately, certainly got nothing to lose by giving Joe a go if he's fit as it's not working at present.
if it was me which we all know it never will be i would like to see a back four of
LB DOHERTY RB CONNOLLY CB BONDZ CB MCNERNEY
That will enable Vincelot to sit in front of the back four and allow Camara and the other midfielders to push on knowing we have adequate cover, this would also allow Connolly and or Doherty to push forward and then Vincelot can sit back to make a back 3 when we are on the attack

Maybe a back three of Bondz, Joe Mc and Connolly with Doherty and Young as wing backs. Bulman as holding midfielder as well for extra security.

Young is a liability and offers nothing.

totally disagree. Connolly has the limitations for sure. Young offers attacking pace. He isnt a defender doing an ok job in defence. Saturday he (as did others) had a poor game.
this league is a 4-4-2 league to me and playing 3 at the back as we did at times on Saturday showed us as much we look far stronger with a back 4 than a back 3 imo which is why it should only be employed when we have the ball

Usain Bolt can also run rather quickly and a footballer he’s not!!
