I see Norman 'bites ya legs' Hunter is now hospitalised with corona, but no word on how he's faring apart from that. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52244115
Hunter never did things by halves and it was an appropriate name for a player of his style. I see the virus finished him off:

I eventually forgave him for this: (just after 3 mins)
what memories I remember it well. Battered Poland but it wasnt to be. Some famous names of the past and if my memory serves me well a time when Leeds United were a force and that showed in the players in the National team.

Norman Hunter won't be remembered for silky skills, but the type of game he did play, he played it very well. In most eras he would have won more than 28 caps, but England had an abundance of riches in defence and defensive midfield at that time. I was surprised to see he was one of the '66 World Cup winning squad, though didn't play. I saw a great piece of action on the news just now - Hunter and Francis Lee swapping punches. The good ol' days, eh?

This could mean no football until next year at the earliest. If pubs and restaurants are always spoken of being one of the last social restrictions to be lifted (and I suggest if say local authorities (or another suitable 'licencee') checked premises closed say every other table to create distancing. Pubs could have a book a table, table only service and again spread people out...basically its perhaps doable with a lot of planning) but socially distance thousands of football fans travellung on tubes, trains, busses and then try and spread fans out at stadiuns its just not gonna happen or really feasible. I think the social economic hit may force some restrictions to be lifted socially, but I see football being way down the list, way behind even pubs and restaurants.
Listening to the News breaking re lockdown restrictions lifted the BBC reporting no singing in Churches! (yes you heard that correctly - so what hope of football stadiums opening soon? OK but no singing? I think my mind is doing over-time..
