I agree with AlexBH at the moment Lewis is everybody's best friend but footballers are a fickle bunch and with forty players to keep Happy the honeymoon period may not last long that's when an experienced and successful manager is required I'm sure the club wouldn't ditch Lewis as he has already proved himself to be a perfect link between the old and the new.
Unfortunately that's the issue - if Lewis gets 3 losses in a row which can easily happen in this league, we know what will happen in terms of fan sentiment. Timescales for managers are shrinking all the time and we ideally need a tough, battle-hardened customer who has been there before and come through it. Young managers are too easy to criticise, no pun intended.
That said we all hope Lewis confounds the odds and beats an in form team like Mansfield and sets the owners a big problem

It does seem to me Lewis has really stabilised things and has got the players a lot more united though which is very encouraging. I know another group of people who could do with that kind of thing right now

They can't have him as PM, we need him at the Broadfield!

Cannot visit you folk without a word about Lewis. as a player, even his harshest critic (he had a few) never complained about his attitude, it was always his outstanding quality and why he is so highly respected by his fellow Pro's.
He is the right person for the current situation, to circle the wagons & rebuild some of the lost pride & spirit, that has been our club’s key asset in recent seasons.
All of which is not intended as a slur on KB, IMHO he would have benefited from a DoF with more experience of football rather than spreadsheets.
