Crawley Town play at home against Aston Villa U21 in the 2022/23 EFL Trophy, Tuesday 18th October 19:45 kick off. Please keep all discussion about the match to this thread. Thank you and come on you Reds.
This match is also available live on ifollow (please see official site where you can purchase a ticket to watch the match on ifollow).
Two out of two for Lewis you’d think given Villa U21’s record, imagine much of Saturday’s bench will get an extended run out. Seems a bit unfair Pompey will have two more weeks to prepare to beat any result by us against an already qualified Dons but I guess no tragedy at all if we complete our stay in this tournament tomorrow. Much more important to see who can contribute to all the other much huger games coming up
Who will play in goal? With Balcombe coming back and Addai and Robson looking to play we now have plenty of competition for goalkeeper. Another win for Lewis would strengthen his claim on the vacant managers position.
Be interesting to see what LY does in regards to team selection here. Does he give more of the youngers/fringe players game time or does he play most of the regular first XI to help gain more of their confidence back?
I've decided to go as a last-minute decision. Bought the ticket online and it's only a fiver. Being an old fart ain't so terrible sometimes. Was getting a bit stressed that the ticket wouldn't print. I then noticed the USB cable wasn't plugged in to the laptop. That's a downside of being an old fart. It printed my half dozen failed attempts too. I see a new career as a tout

Without Balagizi we have have the Worst Midfield in the Football League - Every1 knows that! So I am hoping we use this less importamt fixture to play the Midfielders who have NOT featured yet this season or the Midfielders who have hardly played any matches. They cannot do any worse = so give them a shot tonight!
Surley Lewis will do everything he can to win this match.
Surely you don't think Lewis is surley he seems quite a nice lad and in the clubs fitness report on Balagizi and Balcombe James is five weeks away and Balcome will be available for Saturday's match.
I’m Ifollowing for my first game of the season. This could be a regular thing. Think I’ve got some whisky somewhere as well.. (as if I don’t know where it is) Cheers to you all..

shows how ifollow at double that price is over-priced.
