I know we are inconsistent but f*** me. Today has been completely unacceptable and answers are required. I thought we were bad 1st half against Wimbledon but this is different level of bad. Salford are shite and should be beating us 0-6. The performance is concerning more than anything else.
Let’s put that down as an off day…. But to allow the opposition 26 shots at our goal needs addressing….. we were always going to concede eventually. Trust us to blow a great chance to nestle in to the play off positions.
Still, plenty of football to be played come what May.
By the way how the fook was that not a penalty for handball by Smith right on 45 mins?
Stonewaller
And apparently it’s within the laws to hold back Orsi by the shirt every time he runs forward.
Linesman’s rules
I couldn't see through all the bodies re handball. Lino's view would be similar to mine. If ref unsighted too, he can't give it. Annoying if you had a better view, but can't see through people.
Their manager looked more surprised than anyone it wasn’t a pen.
He was smiling and talking to our bench with an exaggerated look of surprise and looked very sheepish. He knew what had just happened.

No. We can't put that down as an off day. That's being deluded. We were atrocious. Truly fucking awful. Salford are one of the worst teams I've ever seen at the Broadfield. Yet they were still better than us.
They wanted it more. We were second to everything. No passion, no drive, it was all sideways and passing it back to Corey, putting him under unnecessary pressure. Corey played a blinder, he needed to as our defence was non-existent.
The officials were a whole new level of incompetence, matched only by our embarrassing performance. Lindsey still doesn't know how to make effective substitutions. What an utter shit show.
Abject woeful are the words I would use. The most disappointing thing for me was the lack of effort and urgency. Teams will have off days but the lack of passion effort or even the pretence of trying to win the game was shocking. The best you could say is the were complacent and thought they had to show up to win.
Passing was dreadful defending very poor. If Salford had scored six we couldn't have complained. They deserved to win and if they were more clinical it would have been a cricket score. Only our goalkeeper performed today. We need a striker a strong midfielder and a centre back.
Was very strange performance today as we didn’t seem to want it as much as they did. After all we were coming off of two straight wins and they hadn’t won since last November!
Didn’t see much fire and drive from us. That’s inexcusable.
On another note, was cringy to see SL having to have a go at fans in the West Stand for booing the players.

So true about the officials. I was looking straight down at them from my point and watched Orsi being dragged down repeatedly by their defender, blatant handball being denied and fouls given to them when they were clearly the offender during tackles etc.
I wondered if I was in some parallel universe watching something that others saw so differently. Was mind blowing to watch.
I will struggle to see a worst performance by officials.
Wasn’t the main reason we lost but was certainly significant
