Dont know what all the fuss is about with the booing? The players & SL deserved to get boo'ed today. Man City boo'ed their players off the other week - their worst performance in a few years. Well that was arguably our worst performance in the last 5 years according to the post match stats.
SL should have been planning a change of formatiom/personnel instead of arguing with the fans. If i was sitting in the stands I would of told him so aswell!

My fingers are still frozen. Its all be said we were awful as was ref. Didnt help losing the toss of a coin to the N0rthern t0ssers.
You’re not seriously suggesting that a coin toss should have any sort of effect on the outcome of a game are you? 🤯 PS: our team contains ‘n0rthern t0ssers’…
I hate it when we lose the toss and the away side elect to kick towards the south stand, but if the team can't handle that they shouldn't be on the pitch.

I can understand fans booing at the end of the match or at half time, but I just can’t get people booing half way through the first half. How on earth is that going to improve the players’ performance? If anything, it seemed to make a couple of the players worse, losing concentration - a couple of them became more hesitant and tried to force passes forward rather than make composed passes. That’s not to excuse the overall performance at all, we were out-played, second to nearly every ball and over-run at the back, but I just can’t see how booing during a match helps.
a foul is a foul whether he does cart wheels or whatever its still a foul
Unless you're a twat ref like we had today. See also: blatant handball.
Agreed! It was a blatant handball - bloke had his arm outstretched and the ball hit it smack in the middle. It was going in too. It would have been an undeserved lead had we scored the penalty but that’s not the point. I can understand the lino not seeing it but the ref seemed to have a view of it. Then again, he didn’t seem interested in all those fouls on Orsi, or in booking the guy who scored their goal for his provocative celebrations in front of our fans. Will Wright was booked for far less at Gillingham so again, where is the consistency?
As for Salford, they have always had a nasty, cynical streak. However, today was a perfect example of how we get outmuscled by teams, just like the Mansfield game, and we have to learn to cope with that or get in players who can respond in kind during the window.

Im guessing that was reference to how Salford won the toss and we attacked the BW end 1st half. We usually improve 2nd half and so wouldve benefitted from winning the toss.

The Boo-ing after 25 mins was because the fans had seen enough. Salford had 12 shots in the first 25 mins, and boo-ing was to try and get SL to change things around. But the Boo-ing fell on Deaf Ears! End of Story.

That may well be so, but I don’t think that’s how the players saw it.

personally i dont think its helpful and motivates change.
SL talks about it after the match saying it clearly doesn’t help the players.
Yes they’re professionals and they need to be strong etc, but I think sometimes they just withdraw because they’re fearful of getting it wrong then getting the wrath of supporters straight after. They become scared and hesitant. The performance then suffers.
Have you noticed every time it is said " so and so has not won for so long" that team always seems to beat us
As everyone has said that was a terrible performance by all of the starting outfield players. Not one of them had a good or even average game. I would give them all 2/10, but Corey 8.5. We deserved to lose at least 3-0 and were only kept in the game by Corey's brilliant performance. Passing and defending, and attacking all very poor. And we gave them their goal - always going to happen occasionally with our always pass back mentality.
We were out fought and thought by a much poorer side. Yes Orsi was man marked and had his shirt pulled all the time by their 42, by why wasn't things changed earlier, by bringing Lolos on at half time to give them something else to think about. Lolos looked the only one who might do something .Ffs why does he not start more games, he is the one player who can offer something different. At one time Orsi moved to the wing, and the 42 didn't follow. Why didn't we mix it up or change things at half time? It was clear we needed a plan B, but then we don't have one do we?
Oh well on to the next one and let's hope it is a better performance as it is my first away game (going on the coach).

If they didn't like it, they should have bloody played better. And Lindsey needs a wake up call. Have a fucking plan B when plan A isn't working. If there was actually a plan today. Change things when it isn't working. Subs can come on before 70 minutes. Start Lolos. Every game. Play Adeyemo and Gordon - they actually attack and try and create. And ffs teach the defenders how to pass it forwards.
We froze out there. Never got stuck in. Why didnt SL change things after an avalache assault on our goal? Corey clearly on top form the rest awful like the officials.
