I wouldn't read too much into Orsi's comments. Love the guy but he's not the most erudite, I suspect what he meant was it's a shame that the team is going their separate ways because of their own choices for what's best for their individual careers, rather than being forced to by the club.
I worry (along with many other things) about the two new signings thinking they're coming into play alongside last year squad. They said they were excited to sign but did they really know what they were signing up for?
We were the laughing stock of the footballing community in the early days of wagmi and I now believe that this is actually worse than those days in losing virtually all of the promotion winning first choice 11.

I would guess we have made about least £1M from the sales of Addai and Orsi if it is correct we sold Orsi for £650,000. According to a Crawley Observer article today, we will get another £800,000 from EFL for promotion which Preston said would go into recruitment. This makes nearly £2M. Let's see Wagmi spend this on at least some experienced players that can play in League One in the next few weeks.
We only have 15 players for pre-season training. How can we plan with few players? We need 11 players urgently and most of those in the next couple of weeks as our first pre-season game is 16 July.
Normally the weekend is very quite for signings but we are very short particularly in goal and up front. I would not therefore be surprised if the recruitment team are working hard to get people in the door for Monday. Would not be surprised if signing announced tomorrow or Monday morning.
My betting is that in addition to a couple more purchases, we’ll have a number of players on trail so Scott can see what they’re like in training. With a current squad size of 17 (not counting Gordon and Gladwin), there’ll be several more to be signed yet.
Another point to bear in mind is that if we’re going to lose players, at least it is at this stage, rather than at the end of the transfer window (glass half full and all that).
