I can find June a slow and frustrating month as a Crawley supporter. We are already looking to the new season, and worried we have not got enough players. In an ideal world we would like:
1) Most contract renewals sorted, and season ticket prices released for next season before end of this current season;
2) Pre-season fixtures, new shirt/sponser announced and a few non contract players signed before end of May;
3) A few big signings made first week transfer window opens and all signings completed by first week of July/before players return for training.
However we are not like some other clubs, Crawley do things a little slower. We just have to get use to it, but still count the days before the new season, and check daily for announcements!

I am trying to be patient and trust the process. None of us rated our teams chances of promotion before the start of last season, but we exceeded expectations. Obviously, it was a bit different last year the season before last where we had a squad of players who almost got us relegated and survived by the skin of their teeth so a clearcut of players was certainly not viewed as a bad thing by everyone at all, this year we have a team that got us promoted so we want to make sure we hold onto the core of that team. As Simon said we have Addai, L Kelly and Orsi signed up for next season who were probably our 3 best players last year, but Maguire not making his loan permanent was a blow. Let's hope Wright is not off as well, he was a crucial player with 4 goals and 9 assists from centre half and a ball playing defender who was finally getting better at actually defending in the second half of the season. Hopefully Jeremy Kelly will stay and WAGMI and their data will sign some nobodies who turn out to very good again.

nobodies stepping up to L2 fair enough but L1 is a big ask.

It is. Also things may get complicated along the way.....personally I would be surprised if Orsi is still here come the start of the season. 25 goal striker with one season left under contract - someone will make an offer that we cannot refuse.
That will be money to be reinvested in the playing squad, another reason why nothing has been announced yet.
I am hoping he will stay. He is playing every game, scoring regular and is a hero. He is apparently loving here, and will he get that elsewhere? However, agree if we get big offer for one player, best to take rather than lose a few for a pittance, which we may do if don't renew some contracts.

I’ve just seen on Twitter that Stockport are going to sign him for £500,000 giving him a 3 year contract.
Looks like TC9 has got quite a lot of rumours wrong (although a couple right) so let's hope he is wrong this time. Stockport fans feel will not pay quoted amount for him.

Exactly. Was just about to say the same Twitter account said we were signing an Orient player and that Joy Mukena was off last season and both never happened.
Mark Dunford has picked up the aforementioned Twitter post and also mentions Wigan Fans think they have bid £600k. Unsettling for all, but we will just have to have to wait and see.
Unfortunately with such a good season, and his performances in the playoffs, we were always going to get bids for him. It will depend on what he/Wagmi wants to do. If he does go, hope Wagmi play the bids against each other and get as much as they can for him.
If someone is going to pay 500k for Orsi I would carry him there myself. He did well for us last season but a half million pound paly he certainly is not. We could recruit three much better players for that money.
To be honest if someone said Lolos was leaving for that I could possibly just believe it. He is the one player we have with ' potential ' to justify that sort of investment or gamble.
I think its either BS or they have wro g transfer fee or player .
