Has to be somebody who wants to play beautiful football after we spent loads of money on that lovely playing surface for Kewell's team to play passing football! (surely that was our main reason and not to make a nice surface for the "carrier bags" kids and womens teams to play on?)
Some mentions elsewhere of Jay Saunders but that would be a big ask of him after a rough time at Maidstone and just being released? Sounds the sort of character though as somebody involved in all aspects of the playing side, development of players.

Currently 4/1 favourite on sky bet, Nolan and Slade @7/1, Morais, Smith, Bowyer, Harry Wheeler (ex Billericay) and Jerry Gill (Bath) @10/1, Ferguson and Carsley @12/1

Bet Victor also have Saunders favourite @5/1, they throw in the likes of Owen Coyle @8/1, Sol Campbell @12/1, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Paul Ince @16/1 and Craig Shakespeare @25/1, obviously their dartboard is bigger than the skybet one
The problem from the outside looking in is we will never know who throws their hat in the ring. We never know what the budget for a manager is. Therefore we are all pulling names out of hats. Here's one; Jimmy Bullard. Did well at Leatherhead. Here's another; Alan Devonshire. Done well wherever he's been. Or how Arsenal Wenger. Out of work at the moment.
I can throw brick bats at most of the people mentioned, likewise I can say good things about them too.
All said and done I just want someone with an attacking mindset that knows how to organise a team so we stop letting in silly goals.
The minimum requirement has got to be someone who is 100% committed to the job. Kewell’s heart was never in it from the get go, he went AWOL during pre season, nothing was heard of him for weeks at a time, the new manager should be committed to the job.
Out of interest the first manager in the home Broadfield dugout after Kewell leaves is Simon Rusk who has just seen his team thrash Man City 5-0. He is unbeaten against Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham this season also
