Agree on Nadders there, I know a lot of of people seem happy to see him go, but as you say, that pace gives us a real different option.
I know it's not the best comparison, but Usain Bolt would give us pace up front, the point is pace isn't everything. Nadders goal record is average at best.
Did anyone on here ever watch Usain Bolt's attempts to become a footballer? I didn't think he was that great even in the Soccer Aid matches

I think Nadders might be a better player than Usain Bolt…
I agree it’s not everything, but he’s got it in abundance and sometimes it’s a very simple ball over the top that does for teams, as proven a number of times with him.

I feel like we played a lot of percentage football last season under Yems and played a lot of long balls last season to varying degrees of success, but Nadders still scored less than 10 league goals. If Nadders signs the new manager may play a different style of play, more more of a passing game which may suit Nadders better as his link up play is generally very good.

Reported on Inside Futbol that CTFC are one of three clubs interested in Rangers 'starlet' Josh McPake, he's played League football on loan at Harrogate, Morecambe and Tranmere

Todays rumour, courtesy of Football League World, is that 24 year old goalkeeper Corey Addai has completed his medical and, after thumbing his nose at Gillingham, is sitting pen in hand waiting to sign a contract

Is this the trialist we had in goal for the Eastbourne friendly?

Slightly off topic, but does anybody know the reason why in friendlies the trialists are always referred to as triallists and not by their actual names given the element of secrecy is lost when fans can attend the games in person now so might know who they are. Is it just that the media personnel and matchday staff aren't told who they are as often triallists can come in at short notice?
But I guess the element of secrecy isn't totally lost, we had plenty of triallists there but do we know who they all are? Some of our rivals will probably have scouts there but many won't have
It could be that because trialists have not signed a playing contract with the club, so they are not allowed to reveal the name unless he actually is an employee (that's just a guess though).

This is pretty accurate. Players can be signed on a short-term contact to assess whether they are good enough to be offered a full time contract. Signing as a trialist allows the player (in England) to play in friendlies, open or closed doors - the situation is different in Scotland where they are allowed to play a maximum of three competitive matches before a decision is made.
Trialists are not registered to the club while under the short-term contract and they receive no payment for the matches they play.
I don't think there is any real secrecy but it is pointless announcing names for unregistered players who may only be around for a couple of weeks.
Interesting chat on the Stevenage episode on The Lower League Look. They were talking about the thing being sponsored by WAGMI after getting on well in the Preston interview a while back. Anyhow, they asked Preston about a player that he had taken to a swanky London restaurant to wine and dine and wondered if it was Dom Telford, he said it wasn't but was someone even bigger. Not sure if they meant in terms of the standard that they play at or their physical height, hopefully not the latter as going by Telford's smallish stature, it could be pretty much any footballer😁
