Not sure any Forwards will be on our radar. Not when we already have Nicholls, Appiah, Oteh under contract, negotiations with Nadesan and cover with Matthew’s and Rodari….

To have a realistic shot of promotion, I think we'll need at least 2 more. Appiah is no spring chicken and we may not get a full season out of him as we didn't this. Oteh is still in the raw category. Nadesan may or may not be with us. Matthews isn't a forward and Rodari hasn't looked like stepping up yet. Lot of work to do here - we need 5 good options to sustain a season long challenge
I don’t disagree and I’m not suggesting Rodari or Matthews are anywhere near good enough but the fact is they are signed and on the wage bill and if Nadesan signs (which I’d hope and expect him to - simply because he’s different to what we have) I can’t see much of what’s available to spend to be spent on overloading that department even further.

I expect Rodari will be loaned out to pay some of his wages. Matthews will compete in his natural position if he's signed on again. If the new owners are serious about getting promotion (and I think the amount they have already invested shows they are), they won't be fazed by the small money we pay our development players, that'll be written off or defrayed through loans and transfer deals. Fingers crossed on Nadderz who is rumoured to be one of the higher earners (we did sign him from a higher league) so I expect there are negotiations under way to get him to the level of his contributions, whatever the club have judged that to be
Agree on Nadders there, I know a lot of of people seem happy to see him go, but as you say, that pace gives us a real different option.
I think it might be best for Nadesan if he moves on though, as at this stage in his career he should really be a regular starter, which I don't see as being likely next season for us
Yep, The Peterborough Barker (the Posh Barker sounds like an ex girlfriend).
My apologies.
Jim Baker
I heard the same too, although some people have said it hasn't come from a reliable source so am not sure if that will lead to anything.
I'd like to see us sign Finn Azaz (either loan or permament) as he'd add some much needed quality to the midfield. Borehamwood's Kane Smith is leaving them this summer and I think he'd be a great addition to the squad too, especially now Davies has left. As for strikers, my dream is that we get Dom Telford but am not sure that will happen. I'd also like to see us sign Alfie Rutherford from Dorking too, I'd say he's better than Nadesan and he's only 22 (I think) so best years are ahead of him

I know it's not the best comparison, but Usain Bolt would give us pace up front, the point is pace isn't everything. Nadders goal record is average at best.
