So you don't believe teams get lucky within games? Football is renowned as a game where that does actually happen? What did you think of the Chelsea-Palace game on Saturday?
The only obvious difference I can see is Steve Evans took over Stevenage, made a load of signings and they have gone from 21st last season to 3rd this season.
Kevin Betsy took over Crawley, made a load of signings and we have gone from 12th last season to 22nd this season.
Sadly unless there is a new rule that the league table is to be turned upside down only one of the above has a chance of going up this season...
All I'm saying is, I'm so glad I've finally lived long enough on this planet to read you saying something praiseworthy about Steve Evans? I'd have said the odds on you doing that one day with Kevin Betsy are probably much more favourable than that!

Keep polishing those turds Steve doing well
Crawley Town Football Club, our players and our manager are not "turds". Think your head is gone

The way you all ways defend KB makes people believe you must be related or like earlier mention his agent, why is it you can't see any fought in KB when many on this forum can see whats lacking in his management.

It's unfortunate that you want to make those of us who want to give the manager a bit more time - a perfectly respectable position still shared by a lot of fans - sound like oddballs. It's actually still a very balanced debate among fans but as soon as you go into the online world everything gets amped up in very extreme ways.
While going into the ground on Saturday I met a guy who was very anti Betsy and wanted him gone and we had a quick chat, agreed to disagree and then wished each other a good day watching the game. I saw him afterwards in the bar and he then said to me how well he thought we'd played in the second half and that Betsy would be unlucky to be fired on the back of that performance. Those for me are the kind of real world discusssions that tend to take place at the ground - when people log on, that kind of balance tends to disappear

Betsy quickly turning them all into turds. 19 signings and only 2 players started, a goalkeeper and a kid on loan. How many of Steve evans signings started? Luck 😂

Well at least you are admitting that's what you are calling our players, no false slipperyness. And from the laughing emojis, you're having a wonderful time too doing it

I am not sure this is the right way to look at it trev.
None of us attend training sessions, neither do we attend tactical and scouting meetings, injury updates, we are not privy to, nor have access to specific styles or means of coaching, we do not speak with the players on a daily basis, we are not present in the dressing room - all we see are the 90 minutes that count each week. I don't believe "many on this forum can see what's lacking in his management" but rather we can all see the results - as Von Moltke put it - "no plan survives contact with the enemy".
Ha so Mike Tyson was actually ripping off Von Moltke? "Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth"
"Steve", besides practically residing on every page and second post of this forum, why do you try so hard ( and signally fail), to show us how you are a well-read "humorist", dispassionate, tremendously even- handed and an all- round guru and superior bloke; you actually have an ego problem.

Was he wearing a “Betsy Out” T-shirt? No one is interested in hearing your imaginary friend conversations.

It is because Steve is Affiliated to the Club! He is also a Relative of Tony Craig! I am sure he Joined the Forum on nearly the same date as Tony Craig Signed Up. Despite CTFC Conceding 1.89 Goals EVERY Time Tony Craig has Started a League Game, he still backs Tony Craig! He Still Backs Betsy! He Probably Still Backs Josh Davies! Lets Get Joel Lynch as Player Manager for Gord Sakes!

Oh 57away, sometimes I think you might be on to something then you spout such twaddle as this and I see it as it is. Steve has every right to stick up for Betsy as I do as I believe that there is still a majority that wants Betsy to stay but on the forum sheep like behaviour seems to prevail and common sense goes out of the window.

If you weren't among the small rump of the dissatisfied fans who abandoned supporting the team for the day on Saturday when we went a goal down you'd have heard a cross section of views - some positive and others very negative.

I really don't see this - surely we need a cross section of views rather than being all identical?
