On Saturday I asked one of our rep's what was happening about Danny Bulman's testimonial only to be ignored if this is the way fans are treated then i think this fans council is a waste of time and just a job for people who want power but can't be bothered to talk or answer fans.
Hey Trev. I've kinda taken a step back from the Fan Council as I'm busy with the CTSA stuff. Sorry about your experience. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose. Anyways, as soon as we have an update on Bulman we will tell you. We are chasing and chasing as much as possible as we want to know more.

Any update on dannie bulman benefit match?
"Any movement regarding Dannie’s benefit match needs to be initiated from his side.
On the club side he never played enough matches in one stint at Crawley to qualify for an official testimonial. Equally as it is a benefit match and the funds go to him, legally it would need to be organized from his side as well.
The club can help support him through pitch hire, ideas and anything else that may be needed once there is a plan set on Dannie’s side to go forward.”

Adding up the stints should be well within the scope of a club that has become more statistic based. The problem is that many players would feel too embarrassed to ask.

Appreciate the update, but I feel fans would disagree with the Club's assessment.
Can you confirm exactly how many games are required for the Club to consider it an 'official' testimonial? I have never heard there to be an official number and it is up to Clubs to determine when they feel a testimonial is required. He played 344 games in the end for Crawley over his career. If Dannie were to approach the Club, would they look to charge him for use of the pitch/stadium?
With all the conspiracy theories about Tom Nichols - the Fans Council should get an answer and relay it to the supporters that way we stop all these rumours getting out of hand. We also are supposed to have a Supporters member on the board but we hear nothing from him either -

The wording on the EFL regulations is "arranged on behalf of any player who has completed ten years or more in the service of the club"

Preston has said that he can't comment on what has happened with Tom. Preston has said that Tom is a professional and the rumours about him not playing due to the comments of the manager are not correct.
Can the Fans Council please update the supporters on what you are saying to Wagmi about the current shambolic running of the club.
Please update us.
If its anything like the CTSA then the Fan Council are likely bring ghosted by WAGMI.
Let's be honest the WAGMI approach to communicating with supporters is divide and rule - CTSA, Fan Council, Website, Discord, Twitter, Supporter Board Member and so on. Make sure no-one gets the full picture on how badly the club is run.

Hey all, thoughts I'd chip in. It is worth reflecting on what the Fan Council is there for. The Crawley website describes them as "These members will be free to feed any information and answers back to the supporters through forums and social media". What I would say is that they are there to talk about the match day experience and how that can be improved. Nothing more. Whilst individually they will all have their own views on the situation, it isn't for the Fan Council to release anything etc.
