Crawley Town play at home against Stevenage in the 2021/22 EFL League 2, Saturday 5th February 15:00 kick off. Please keep all discussion about the match to this thread. Thank you and come on you Reds.
Even if we lose this surely it would be nowhere near as embarrassing as it would be for West Ham if they go on to lose at Kidderminster, so am trying to put us in perspective
Sadly won't be able to come now as have not been feeling good at all last couple of days but will be cheering the lads on from home and hopefully they will make me feel better by winning
Horrible result to be honest considering the position we were in, think the manager does need to do some explaining afterwards as you shouldn't be throwing away games in that position
1st Half Stats:- Won 13 Drawn 11 Lost 4 - GF 20 GA 10 2nd Half Stats:- Won 3 Drawn 13 Lost 12 - GF 14 GA 29
We are Still Top 3 in the League on 1st Half Stats. We are Still Bottom 2 in the League on 2nd Half Stats.
WE ARE NOT FIT ENOUGH LAST 30 MINS OF EVERY SINGLE GAME. YEMS NEEDS TO SORT IT OUT, BUT PERHAPS HE HAS NOT REALIZED YET BECAUSE HE DOES NOT FOLLOW STATS. HAVE A WORD SOMEONE! MY MOTHER WOULD HAVE HAD THIS TEAM IN THE TOP5 BY NOW! UNBELIEVABLE DECLINE IN FITNESS YET AGAIN! CENTRAL MIDFIELD BACK TRACKING LAST 30 MINS YET AGAIN! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF WATCHING. SAME OLE SAME OLE!
Issue for me is that although individually I do think we have a pretty decent collection of center backs, we've had a terrible habit of giving away sloppy goals regularly and as a result it has cost us a lot of points this season, so hopefully they will start looking into that more from now on (with realistically next season in mind). I think if we didn't have such a slow midfield the defense wouldn't be quite as exposed
What’s really pi***** me off now is how defensive we go, we clearly cannot hold onto any sort of lead so why not learn from the endless mistakes and try something new. Try and attack until the end, never know we may have got a 3rd although we still would have blown a 3 goal lead.
