I hope there wont be too many ants invading us from the North. Just recalling past times a little drop of rain and ahead of today the match wouldve been in doubt. Some fantastic work has been done by the club groundstaff and pitch revamp. COYR!

After our dire prematch shooting warm up game may be more like Northern Ants 3 Creepy Crawlies 0 bit hopefully weve saved our shooting boots for kick off. Quite lot nousy ants marched in to ground with massive flag in corner of stand. Ground otherwise looking sparse. Probably unlike county mall.

Dull opening half. Im a big fan of Joe McN but he has looked off the pace. Few dire ref decisiobs but the Ants are prepared leave one back versus our two or three for too many corners. Camara good turn in box dipping shot hit woodwork was the only excitement in a dull first half of sweeping rain and too much ants possession. HT Creeply crawlies 0 Northern Ants 0
I haven't made my mind up if we are a good team or not. Yes the referee was the worst referee I have ever seen but we did well to only lose 1 nil when we were down to 10 men.
First half there was nothing in it, second half the referee made sure that there was with a string of poor decisions.
Firstly a dubious penalty, then a dubious sending off. Looked like an innocuous coming together, Palmer may have shoved into him, but their player made a real meal out of it. Then the referee rounded it off by denying us a penalty/ free kick on the edge of the box when we were through on goal.
Real shame that these decisions decided the game, thought we gave it a good go in the second half and deserved a point at least.
Didn't think Palmer did anything, I was expecting a free kick to us. We created more with 10 men but that was after Poleon went off. Bulman imo dived. Today was all about the referee.
That was like watching aliens who had seen football on the TV and decided to come down and give it a go.
Penalty looked harsh, sending off was barely a foul and Bulman was pushed in the back when clean through on goal.
How many times did we pass the ball to the opposition? How many tackles did we miss? Basically, how crap we're we?

First half was poor I agree, they weren’t much better either. Second half we were the better team down to 10 men. The game changing decisions all went their way. We were average against Crewe and won 3-0, I’d argue we played better at times in that second half today and lost 1-0.
